Bitter Teeth

On October 22, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Bitter TeethThis is another reprint, and I’d be curious to see it in person to see if it’s as vivid as the picture is. There’s nowhere to really go wrong with a skull covered in chocolate though, is there? I didn’t think so. (Available at Threadless)

E.x.ecutioner

On October 22, 2009, in Original, by Mose

E.x.ecutionerI’m not going to pretend that I understand the title of this shirt, but it’s awesome. The rainbow of colors, the spatters of television or monitor or whatever that is breaking out into the birds, it’s just pretty sweet to look at. (Available at Threadless)

Bye Bye Apocalypse

On October 22, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Bye Bye ApocalypseThere’s not much I have to say about this one. It’s a beautiful image, the boy and the girl on standing on the docks with the balloons to silhouette a skull shape is absolutely gorgeous. I suppose it doesn’t hurt that I do love the water. And balloons. (Available on Threadless)

The Red

On October 22, 2009, in Original, by Mose

The RedYes, I know. I have this obsession with little red riding hood. See some examples. Still, this is a pretty sweet shirt, with the red background and the disturbing red hooded bloody girl. I’d certainly turn around and walk down the street in the other direction if I saw her standing around like this, at least. (Available at Threadless)

Dead Shred

On October 21, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Dead ShredSimple concept, simple execution, nice shirt. A mummy in midair doing a skateboard trick. That’s kind of all I need to say, right? Yeah. (Available at Threadless)

Bone Idol

On October 21, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Bone IdolI’m not huge on the name – Bone Idol is kind of weak, but it’s a fun, simple t-shirt. Make yourself look like a skull just in time for Halloween. (Available at Threadless)

The Good Guys Don’t Glow At Midnight

On October 21, 2009, in Movies and Music, by Mose

The Good Guys Don't Glow At MidnightWow. Let’s run through the list- Frankenstein, Hannibal Lecter, Dracula (or at least, a vampire), Pinhead, Jason, Freddy Krueger, a mummy, a pirate, the Scream movie murder(s, I guess), and a fairy. And yes, the evil ones glow in the dark, clearly identifying the impostor when the lights go out. Absolutely amazing. (Available at Threadless)

The Monster Mash

On October 9, 2009, in Original, by Mose

The Monster MashHe did the Monster Mash (the monster mash!). I get that stuck in my head about once a month – often the mom from Freaks and Geeks singing it, in fact. Either way, let’s see what we have here. A mummy, Frankenstein, a merman, a skull, a vampire, a Jack-o-lantern, and hmm. I wonder if that last one is supposed to be a werewolf or if I’m looking at scales and not fur. Either way, a great Halloween t-shirt with the standard monsters – mashed up (yeah, I know, I’m sorry about that). (Available at Design By Humans)

Hello, My Darling

On October 9, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Hello, My DarlingSays the designer:
As the nerve gas permeated their skin and life grasped their torn bodies, the long lost love that was taken so abruptly many years ago was soon rekindled among the cold gravestones.
I love when the designers have good quotes. It does answer a couple (but not all) of the questions I have about love and zombies, though. Surely an educational (zombie) t-shirt if I have ever witnessed one.

Revenge Is Sweet

On October 9, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Revenge is sweetAs the designer says, everyone knows that kids love candy, but what happens when candy loves kids? I think of this like the discarded and unclaimed Halloween candy on November 1st forming up into a monster to avenge itself. In my house growing up, we just gnawed away at it. I had my stash of candy from trick or treating, and my parents had their stash of whatever was left over. I like this idea better, since it does, in fact, look kind of like the crappy candy that no kid really wants (though I’ll accept the argument that the monster kind of looks like it’s made of Sweet Tarts, which are awesome).(Available at Design By Humans)

Frank’s Origin

On October 9, 2009, in Original, by Mose

Frank's OriginA number of Halloween themed t-shirts coming up! Nothing like a good origin story, right? Here Dr. Frankenstein is catapulting his Frankenstein creation to life. It’s just like Darwin theorized.(Available at Design By Humans)
