Swinging Away

On June 10, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Swinging AwayVery cool shirt here. Faux zipper opening down the front of the shirt to reveal a rainbow colored person, swinging on a high swing in the skies above a skyscraper filled city and inexplicable fish between. I don’t quite know what it means, but it’s pretty awesome. (Available at Threadless)

Blandband Deluxe

On May 7, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Blandband DeluxeI couldn’t tell you what blandband means – wouldn’t that be a relatively crappy band? But anyway, I do like the cassette design and the splashes of paint in the background. So, I can’t explain it, but it looks pretty cool. (Available at Threadless)

Watercolor Falls

On April 13, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Watercolor FallsVery simple, very pretty. If a rainbow were water. I assume watercolor is not meant to reference the paint, but rather the color being water – but very cool looking shirt! (Available at Design By Humans)

Le Romantique

On April 12, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Le RomantiqueLe Romantique? Man, I don’t know French. Still, it doesn’t matter much with this shirt. A pretty and colorful floral explosion coming from behind the heart held behind the mystery suited man’s back, I imagine many a lady would probably love to be the recipient of said heart. Diver No. 12

On March 22, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Diver No. 12Very pretty image. The divers helmet leaking (in this case, with rainbow striated .. something) very much reminds me of the No Surprises Radiohead video (during the filming of which Thom Yorke almost actually drowned due to a malfunction in the helmet rig thing, if I recall), which actually has the further rainbow connection (ha!) to their later In Rainbows album. I’m not sure what the tree-like rings of color are supposed to represent (I’m pretty sure it’s not actually Radiohead), but it’s a sweet looking shirt. (Available at Threadless)

Space Needs Color

On March 2, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Space Needs ColorWell, I’m not sure that I’d say that space has no color. I know they’re enhanced images and all that, but from my vantage point back here on terra firma, space is pretty colorful. That being said, I’m not against strapping some tubes of paint onto the shuttle and seeing what happens (especially given its imminent demise).

Invention of Colour

On February 8, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Invention of ColourThis reminds me of Steamboat Willie, or some other early-Disney character (perhaps the Simpsons version of early Micky – Steamboat Scratchy?). I love the idea that they themselves came up with color in a lab somewhere, I’d love even more to see the cartoon. For now, of course, the shirt will have to suffice. (Available at Threadless)

Kill Monotony

On January 4, 2010, in Original, by Mose

Kill MonotonyAwesome color. I like the idea of the lion taking down the zebra, it makes for a interesting action shot and shirt. The blood splattering out and splayed everywhere makes it pretty awesome, the radical blood color sends it over the top. Just like the neck bleeding shirt, I love the substitution of bright rainbow colors for blood. (Available at Threadless)

Colorblind

On January 4, 2010, in Original, by Mose

ColorblindWow. The color in this shirt is absolutely amazing. It looks as if the wearer’s throat has been slit right at the neck of the shirt, and the color spills down into the black hole where the black and white old school woman is bending down. I normally prefer non-white shirts as they are that much easier to keep clean, but I can’t imagine this on any other color for obvious reasons. Fantastic colors sums it up. (Available at Threadless)

E.x.ecutioner

On October 22, 2009, in Original, by Mose

E.x.ecutionerI’m not going to pretend that I understand the title of this shirt, but it’s awesome. The rainbow of colors, the spatters of television or monitor or whatever that is breaking out into the birds, it’s just pretty sweet to look at. (Available at Threadless)
