There’s not much description of this shirt that could quite do it justice, but I’m here to give it my best. A giant teddy bear fights a rabbit Godzilla style, wrecking a building with his massive stuffed punch? Like I said, it’s not doing it justice. I love the line art style, and again, really, any shirt that depicts a teddy bear breaking apart the corner of a building is a win. Also, bunnies. (Available at Threadless)
I really like the image on this shirt. The moonlit silhouette of looks to be a woman, gazing out of some kind of window thing, out into an urban landscape. And I mean moonlit.. look at that thing! The title says all alone, so I’m not so sure if it’s supposed to evoke desolate feeling despite the assumed urban activity, I just think it looks pretty awesome. And what’s the deal with the awesome window shape? Is that a giant window with security bars on it or something? (Available at Threadless)
Very cool shirt here. Faux zipper opening down the front of the shirt to reveal a rainbow colored person, swinging on a high swing in the skies above a skyscraper filled city and inexplicable fish between. I don’t quite know what it means, but it’s pretty awesome. (Available at Threadless)
I’m surprised I haven’t posted this shirt before. I’m not sure that nature and a city can coexist quite this well, even given crazy things like New York’s Central Park, but I do think it’s a nice thought. And the little forest animals at the feet of the skyscraper not tree things seem to be enjoying themselves, so maybe why not? (Available at Threadless)
I can’t believe I didn’t post this shirt before, I’m almost sure that I did. Anyway, simple concept, the organic jungle mirrored underneath the urban (or stone, in this case) jungle. Tall buildings turn into tall trees and the airplanes overhead become birds. I could swear I posted this before.. (Available at Threadless)
Well, I’ve seen a lot more kite flying than I have this urban running parkour stuff in practice (despite living in an urban environment, mind you), but the combination on this shirt works for me any day. I love the silhouetted peek into the urban atmosphere, it reminds me of the chaos of the shanty environments the movies seem to enjoy using for parkour chases and scenes. And, well, kites are awesome. Using them to skim from rooftop to rooftop is a movie scene waiting to happen. (Available at Threadless)
Pretty simple but cool looking design on this shirt. A line drawing of a street corner in London, in which you can see all of the different layers and levels of the drawing behind the foreground, from a woman in the front hailing a taxi, a man standing next to a phone booth, the famous London double-decker buses, an Underground entrance, etc. (Available at Threadless)
Very nice looking t-shirt. I, as I’m sure many will, first assumed I was sitting in the middle of the city looking up towards the sky and tall buildings. I wasn’t going to list the shirt. After a second look, however, I realised that you’re looking down into the water and the clouds are actually silhouettes of fish. Or maybe you are looking up into the water? I’m not sure, but after the double take I thought it was a pretty good one. (Available at Threadless)
The designer’s description of this shirt describes the depicted city as one inhabited by weird and curious creatures. Yep, that sounds about right. The creatures almost remind me of Where the Wild Things Are, giant monstrous benevolent curious beings. Pretty neat t-shirt you can get lost in, like an old Dr. Seuss drawing. (Available at Design By Humans)
The infernal pigeon, how I hate thee. Fantastic shirt capturing my true feelings for these winged vermin. Disgusting and disease ridden, I’m always curious why people feed them. Save the stale bread for the pretty birds that don’t hang out in garbage, please. (Available at Threadless)
